I am the Meanest Lead Ever,.. I should be Fired!

My supervisor Dave was called to military duty for two weeks. He is off basking in the sun in South Carolina. While he was out I took it upon myself to,.. Uhum tease him a bit. I boxed up all of his stuff, Decorated his desk to "Welcome Our New Supervisor Luke!!" (Luke is a guy on my team) Oh and I had Dave's badge access shut off!! (snicker)

I am soooo mean,.. don't worry though pay back is a bitch! I am sure he will come up with something equally as good,.. or he will just drown me when we go to Lake Powell next month.

I am a CHAMPION!!

It had been a long morning and I was getting hungry, I clocked out to go to lunch. Brittainy was waiting for me, we were going to head down to the gym for our 15 minute mini lunch workout and then get something to eat. Before heading to Brittainy's desk I decided to use the restroom. Right before heading through the door to the girls room I hear my name being yelled. "TAYLOR, TAYLOR!!" I turned around and Dave my supervisor was standing across the room. "TAYLOR I really need to talk to you" But Dave I said, I am already clocked out for lunch we'll talk when I come back. "No, I really need to talk to you, after your done in there (the restroom) come back and talk to me. Geesh ok Dave,... I thought I was in trouble or something.

I walked back to Dave's desk and asked what was so important, "Oh shoot, what was it?" Oh serious Dave you run after me, yell my name, say its urgent and when I come back you forget, K well I am off to lunch, I am sure you will remember when I am back? "No, wait it was really important, I just need a minute" Ugh Okay,.... a minute passes. Chop Chop Buttercup!!! Finally frustrated at my time being wasted I gave him an ultimatum. Alright Dave I am giving you one for minute,.. and if you don't remember the we will talk when I am back.

Kevin walked by another supervisor and Dave said Kevin do you remember what I need to talk to Terah about? Kevin thought for a second and said "well Terah, your working this weekend right?" Yes, I do! Well, then you need to workout the alt days off with Allee, the other lead also working this weekend. Okay... I said. As I said this several other supervisors and managers started coming over. I said hi to everyone and then announced I was off to lunch. Dave quickly said "Umm Terah, stick around for a minute" I had no idea for what....

Darren began to speak, "Terah, we just wanted to congratulate you!! You are this weeks Champion of the week!!" He went on about how great I am... :) I am a Lead and our duties have recently been changed. What we do now is answer calls from the floor reps to answer questions and take escalations. Apparently I had taken 100 more calls then any of the other leads!! Woo Hoo!!

That's right, I am a Champion!!

The Punishment of Dave!

This is Hilarious,...

This morning, I found a Cherry Coke on my desk,.. odd,.. but I just pushed it aside and did not think much of it. Dave, My supervisor, who also sits right next to me, picked up the coke and asked me, if I had put it on his desk this morning?? Ah, so that's why it was on my desk...
Apparently, someone has been leaving random soda's on his desk. He ranted about the anonymous soda gifts for about a min or two,.. half of which I tuned out so I am not really able to give exact quotes here.

~Any who, after Dave left work today, I happened to walk past an empty desk, and on this desk sat a can of Mountain Dew. The brat that I am decided to pick it up and place it on Dave's desk,.. HE HE HE. After his morning rant, I couldn't help it.

Dave ended up popping back to work unexpectedly and saw the can of Mountain Dew on his desk!! .. Again, he ranted!! I tuned this out as well, however it was something like "See!! why are they doing this?, It's a different Soda every time!" or something like that.

Well,... I not being the type to let things drop, I got the whole team to help me place sodas on his desk. OH I crack myself up!!

My Last Weekend!

I won!! I put in for a shift bid for Sat/Sun off and I was selected as one of the lucky few to now have a normal M-F shift. The shift bid was based on stats, so as you can imagine I worked my ass off trying to have awesome stats and it has paid off. I have been with the company since November 19th and did not officially start working weekends until December 26th. In less then two months I now have it off. I am really excited about this!! - Now I just have to continue my hard work as I want to move departments and get a pay raise. Wish me luck!

Today is my day off, a Wednesday. I think this is my 3rd or 4th week like this. It wouldn't be bad if I were single, but as it is Jody has weekends off and every other weekend we have Mikey. I feel like I am missing out on a lot of fun family time. I took this position to get my foot in the door, I hope working weekends is a very temporary situation.


I took Jax to the dog park today, we had a lot of fun! Because of the extreme cold, only one other dog was there. A white fluffy dog probably about 20-25 lbs bigger than Jax. The owner said she had only seen one other dog keep up with her dog. Jax just ran and ran and ran, He is now laying on the couch passed out. Jax the speed demon, I am so proud of him!
